I wish that we could guarantee you snow for Christmas, but we can't, but there's no reason why you shouldn't still come to Snowdonia in December. The scenery will be spectacular - there's likely to be snow or frost on the mountain tops. The forests will be crisp and the paths will crunch under your feet. The towns and villages will be decorated for Christmas and there'll be unusual things in the shops. There'll be a warm welcome in the coffee shops, pubs and restaurants with roaring fires to sit besides. Father Christmas will be seen riding on steam trains and sitting in underground grottos There'll be miles of empty, sandy beaches for you to walk on alone There'll be millions of stars, set in a blue velvet sky, twinkling over your head. Stand with a glass of steaming mulled wine to warm your hands and watch for the satellites passing by
At Cadair View Lodge we pride ourselves in making guests especially welcome throughout December. Our cabins will be decorated, most with fairy lights outside, over Christmas and New Year. All cabins are lit and heated ready for your arrival And our Welcome Basket will be waiting to provide you with tea or coffee and biscuits when you arrive... just put the kettle on!
