Canyoning

What's "canyoning"? Canyoning has become popular in the last few years. The activity involves following deep river ravines, tumbling with the river, sliding down waterfalls and gulleies into deep pools below.

Coasteering

Similar to canyoning, coasteering involves negotiating a route along the rockas above the sea. Following the edge of cliffs, swimming between rocky outcrops and sometimes jumping from height into pools. Available from Adventure Activities Snowdonia

Extreme Ironing

This involves finding the craziest place to take your ironing board... up mountains, down caves, underwater! Search the internet for photos of extreme ironing taking place in Snowdonia. Cadair View Lodge can always provide something that needs to be ironed if you're in need of raw materials!!

Fell Running

	Look for local events on the Events Page

Mountain Boarding

Grass boarding / mountain boarding can be provided at Porthmadog Activity Centre. They have fully qualified ATBA qualified instructors, junior and senior boards, safety equipment and a slalom course. Available March - October. Phone 01766 512468
