Cadair View Lodge are one of the leading and largest providers of mountain bike friendly accommodation in North Wales.  We can accommodate over 80 people each night sharing self catering, well equipped, log cabin accommodation.

We are located just over 2 miles from the Coed y Brenin Visitor Centre and you can ride directly from your accommodation onto the Coed y Brenin trails without having to ride down a main road.  See our location in relation to Coed y Brenin.

Our accommodation is ideal for mountain biking parties with many of our log cabins having safe bike storage and bike wash facilities.  We appreciate how much maintenance your bikes need and we have a full pro work stand available if your bike needs some serious TLC during your stay.

After a hard days mountain biking enjoy a well earned drink in the Rhiw Goch Inn, 5 minutes walk from the cabins or just chill out with a beer on the veranda and talk about the day's ride.

If you get fed up with the Coed y Brenin trails we can offer you Penmachno, the Gwydr Marin Trails at Betws y Coed, Mach 1, 2 and 3 at Machynlleth, Climax at Machynlleth, Nant Arian, Llandegla, Coed y Garnedd, Pont Scethin and more mostly well within an hours drive.

Tell us that you are coming to mountain bike when you book and, on arrival, we will provide you with our own mountain biking pack containing local route maps (laminated so you can take them out with you), trail information and our own mountain biking DVD or video (depending on cabin) showing both on and off bike footage of the local trails.  You will also have access to our knowledgeable staff who ride the local trails every week.

If you need to hire bikes we recommend Beics Brenin at the Coed y Brenin Visitor Centre.  They are a Specialized dealership with staff who know the demands of Coed y Brenin and maintain and set-up their bikes accordingly.

For more information about the Machynlleth trails check out the Dyfi Mountain Biking Site
