You won't find many of the usual high street shops in Snowdonia so take advantage of the specialist shops and galleries whilst you're in the area.

bulletTraditional seaside rock and seaside fare.  Live lobsters and seafood for sale at the Lobster Pot on the harbour front.  A growing selection of arty and crafty shops.  Don't miss a visit to the Silly Shilling to stock up on gifts.
Corris Craft Centre
bullet Many interesting and unusual items for sale here.  Shops include those selling gem stones, jewellery, candles, wooden toys, clocks, leather goods and pottery.  Combine with a visit to King Arthur's Labyrinth, Corris Railway or the Centre For Alternative Technology.  See leaflet at Cadair View Lodge.  More information

bullet Situated opposite the station at the end of the Cob in Porthmadog, Cob records is the ideal place to track down copies of old CDs and vinyl records.  They also stock second hand DVDs and videos.  All goods are in excellent condition and they'll buy your old or unwanted CDs, vinyl records, etc. from you provided they are in excellent condition.  More information
