Tomb Raider 2, Lara Croft and the Cradle of Life The main locations were Nant Gwynant and Llyn Gwynant near Beddgelert.  Other scenes were filmed at Pen Y Pass, Moel Siabod, Fynnon Llugwy and a slate quarry near Carmel.  Originally many of these scenes were meant to be filmed in China but the authorities refused permission.  Official film site.
