Chwarel Hen Slate Caverns At Llanfair near Harlech.  A series of tunnels and caverns made over a hundred years ago.  Used for the filming of "First Knight".  Descent Jacob's Ladder and look for the face in the rock in Cavern No. 6.  Leaflet available at Cadair View Lodge.   More information  On same site, but extra charge Children's Farm Park
King Arthur's Labyrinth Take a boat ride along a beautiful subterranean river takes you through the great waterfall and into the Labyrinth of tunnels and caverns carved into the ancient rock of Wales.  Here, enduring tales of King Arthur, and other legends, are re-told as you walk through the spectacular underground settings.  Limited number of visitors a day.  In peak times book in advance or arrive early.  See leaflet at Cadair View Lodge.  More information On same site as Corris Craft Village and The Bards' Quest.
Llechwedd Slate Caverns Situated at Blaenau Ffestiniog.  A deep mine tour begins with a ride on the steepest passenger railway in Britain.  Then have a guided tour through 10 light and sound sequences.  The "Miners' Tramway" is a guided tour with a demonstration of Victorian mining skills.  Also explore the Victorian village.   See leaflet at Cadair View Lodge.   More information
Sygun Copper Mine Situated at Beddgelert.  Sygun offers a rare opportunity for those with a sense of adventure and curiosity, from the young to the elderly, to discover for themselves the wonders it still holds after being abandoned in 1903.  An all weather attraction.  See leaflet at Cadair View Lodge.  More information  New attraction on same site opening Spring 2005 - The Red Dragon Heritage Centre.  See "Other Activities" link off main activity page.

Welsh Slate Museum The story of slate introduced by a 3D cinema show and demonstrated by craftsmen.  Attractions include Quarrymen's House, a giant waterwheel and a slate carrying incline.  Children's play area for under 12s.  Free entry.  More information
