White Christmas in Snowdonia Our Christmas visitors woke up to a white Christmas on Christmas Day. Around 3 inches of snow fell overnight giving a very good covering. Snowmen and sledging were the order of the day and a great time was had by all. And yet more cabins! As of the 3rd of January we will have 8 cabins available to rent. This will mean that we can accommodate up to around 50 people at any one time - so if you have a big group get in touch! It looks as though there may be as many as another 3 cabins available by the Summer but given the amount of people that we had to turn away last year even that may no be enough! Watch this space for more details. |

Rhinog Vista MTB Route We have now way marked the Rhinog Vista mountain biking route. You can now leave your cars at the cabin and take the Vista route down into Coed-y-Brenin. In its own right the Vista route is a challenging 2 hour return ride to and from the cabins, utilising natural cross country and singletrack plus some of the best singletrack sections from the MBR and Karrimor trails. Alternatively use the outbound and inbound sections of the route to top and tail some of Coed-y-Brenin's official routes such as the Red Bull and MBR. Full maps and way marked route details available on request. See Mountain Biking page for more details |
