These are the nearest clubs to Trawsfynydd.  And it’s not ALL about the golfers either!  Many of the clubs now suggest activities for non-golf-playing partners to enjoy whilst their “other half” plays a round of golf.

Bala
Ten holes laid out on a plateau 1,000 ft above sea level and with fantastic views.
Bangor (St Deiniol Club)
Eighteen hole championship course overlooking the city of Bangor with Snowdonia beyond. It is one of the James Braid Trail courses.
Betws y Coed
Nine hole parkland course close to the river.
Caernarfon
Eighteen hole (can be played shorter) parkland course with views of Snowdonia and Menai Straits.
Criccieth
Elevated hill-top course with spectacular sea and mountain views - especially from the 9th tee.
Harlech 
Royal St David's renowned both nationally and internationally.  Ranked in the top 50 courses in Britain and Ireland.  Views of Harlech Castle, Snowdonia, Cardigan Bay and the Rhinog mountains.
Llandudno
Eighteen hold championship mixed links and parkland course.  This course has spectacular views of The Great Orme and Conwy Bay. It is one of the James Braid Trail courses.
Nefyn & District
It's 27 hole championship layout includes the World famous iconic "Point".  This course offers spectacular tees and challenges at every hole.  It is one of the James Braid Trail courses.
Porthmadog
This friendly club has a course designed by James Braid, the genius course designer, back in 1905.  It is one of the James Braid Trail courses.
Pwllheli
A unique part links, part parkland course located on the south facing coastline of Cardigan Bay.  It is one of theJames Braid Trail courses.
