Cancellation Policy

Cancellations Caused by Covid-19

Now that the restrictions are being eased we have amended our cancellation policy as follows

As of 1st March 2022 we have changed our cancellation policy as follows:

  • if we can't accept guests due to a Government enforced lock down (local or national) we will re-arrange your stay (at no extra cost) or refund the money that you have paid for your stay 

  • if you you or a member of your party tests positive for Covid-19 and your stay can't go ahead, there is no refund as this eventuality should be covered by your travel insurance

Outside of these circumstances our usual cancellation policy applies.

A stay can be cancelled at any time.  However a fee will be charged as follows:

  • A stay cancelled more than 4 weeks before arrival will incur a fee equivalent to the deposit paid.

  • A stay cancelled less than 4 weeks before the arrival date will incur a fee of 100% of the accommodation cost (whether it has been paid or not).

If a booking is cancelled 14 or more days before arrival we will refund the cost of any extras booked and paid for e.g. catering costs.

We strongly advise the purchase of holiday insurance to cover the possibility of you having to cancel. 

We strictly adhere to our cancellation policy and can't move the date of bookings.  Please note that a binding contract comes into force between the Party Leader and Cadair View Lodge Ltd once a deposit has been paid.

Refunds can only be made to the card or into the bank account used to pay for the break.
