You only need to look at the photos above to see why a brown, wooden log cabin would be named "Ty Gwyn" (white house).  This peaceful log cabin has a bright and modern interior.

Ty Gwyn is a privately owned self catering log cabin in Snowdonia.  It is in a peaceful, location with views of the Rhinogydd mountains. 

The cabin is an ideal couples' cabin but will accommodate up to 4 guests. 

 

It has 2 bed rooms.  The larger bedroom has a double bed.  The smaller bed room has bunk beds (large enough to accommodate adults).  Please be aware that there is a stream close to the cabin so young children must be supervised outdoors.

 

The kitchen is well equipped with a full stove plus a microwave oven.  Full equipment list will be added soon.

Outside there is a deck area with a view of the Rhinogydd mountains.

The cabin is within the Snowdonia Dark Sky reserve and as such is a great place to observe (and photograph) the night sky.

 

The cabin is pet friendly, welcoming up to 2 dogs.

NOTE:  This cabin is accessed via a footpath from the parking area and there is a small, un-fenced stream just outside.  There are several steps up to the cabin deck.
