When the business began we were aiming our services at mountain bikers coming to ride the Coed y Brenin trails.  We knew that their priority was their riding so we thought that a Welcome Pack would help them.  Containing the essentials such as loo roll and provisions so that they could get up in the morning, make a drink, eat a piece of toast and get out the door.

The welcome pack has evolved a little but has the same aim... we provide the basics that are needed on arrival (and possibly for a weekend).

The welcome pack changed again due to Covid and we introduced a voucher for the little supermarket in Trawsfynydd so that guests could buy their own fresh items and we could pack our welcome "box" well in advance to minimise the risk of infection.  The vouchers have proven popular with guests as they allowed guests to choose vegan, lactose free, gluten free and other (gin, beer, pies!) items for themselves, so we've kept them.

In our post-Covid welcome packs guests will receive:

• tea bags (Yorkshire tea)

• instant coffee sticks (usually Nescafe Original)

• sachets of sugar

• a washing-up sponge

• a washing-up cloth

 

And there will be a supply of the following in the cabin:

• loo roll

• kitchen towel

• washing-up liquid

• loo cleaner

• bin bags

 

There will be a voucher to use in Siop Glyndwr with your welcome letter at the cabin
