Caban Cudd Log Cabin

"Caban Cudd" means "hidden cabin" in Welsh, and it certainly is. Tucked away at the end of a path it's almost like finding a log cabin in a clearing in the woods. Your own "secret" hideaway!

With floor to ceiling windows in the dining area and in the veranda, this log cabin is a great place to spot the local wildlife. You may catch a glimpse of rabbits, squirrels, hedgehogs, pheasants and a good selection of bird life.

The cabin sleeps up to 4 guests in a double bed and a set of bunk beds (note that all of our bunk beds are full sized single beds and are suitable for adults) but the cabin is also ideal for a couple to have a weekend break too

This cabin is down the same little path as our other "hidden" cabin "Cuddfan" and also close to Ty Bedwan. This group of cabins make an ideal location for families or groups travelling together as their children can play together away from the access road..

This cabin welcomes dogs (2 dogs maximum) but neither the deck nor garden are secure.

The veranda of this cabin has been partially opened up to give more kitchen / dining space but there is still a cosy "nook" overlooking the garden, ideal of reading or relaxing. The huge floor to ceiling windows around the front of this cabin bring the outside in. Feel like you are sitting in the garden even if the weather doesn't allow for it.

The cabin has a well equipped kitchen with full sized stove, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. There is a TV in the living area as well as one in each of the bed rooms. The cabin has WiFi.

This cabin has its own garden (not all cabins do) with a seating area and outdoor lighting. Switch the lights off and enjoy the night sky. All of our cabins are part of the Eryri (Snowdonia) Dark Sky Reserve. This cabin faces towards the west.

The parking space for this cabin is about 100 yards away along a small path. There are 4 small steps up into the cabin. Please be aware that the path to the cabin is gravel, not paved.

The cabin is heated via electric "on demand" heaters and fan heaters. There is unlimited hot water from electric water heaters and there is an electric shower. All electricity is included in the price.

Caban Cudd is great for families and couples. Although not secure, the area around the cabin is a great space for children to play away from any traffic.

This group of cabins (Caban Cudd, Cuddfan and Ty Bedwen) are around 5 minutes walk from all of the other cabins managed by Cadair View Lodge.
