Haulfryn Wales Log Cabin Snowdonia
Haulfryn Log Cabin
Quirky cabin with spectacular view!
sleeps up to 6 guests (futon in living room)
pet friendly (N.B. no gates on deck)
spectacular mountain view
It has a quirky feel to it and is decorated in the style of a ski lodge. Children love finding the many wooden animals hidden around the cabin.
This cabin is less than a minute walk from its parking space along a level, gravel path. There are a couple of steps up to the deck.
This cabin has a large deck with great views of Cadair Idris, Diffwys and the Rhinogydd mountains. The parking space for this cabin is less than a minute walk away along a level gravel path.
The cabin has been accredited as part of the Snowdonia Dark Sky Reserve. For those wanting to star gaze it has a full view to the west, a great view to the south but the view from the cabin itself is restricted to the north and east. A very short walk will get views in these directions.
Haulfryn has an enclosed, heated veranda which is great for dining or just sitting and admiring the view.
There is space at the other side for storing bikes or for dogs to sleep (or dry off).
The living area
Warm and cosy with underfloor heating. The cabin has a small (by today's standards) but adequate TV plus a DVD player.
The kitchen area
The kitchen area is open plan with the living area. It is well equipped and fitted out.
There is a full stove, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge. You'll probably find all of the dishes, pans, cutlery and utensils that you'll need for a short stay.
Cosy bedroom for a good night's sleep after a day of adventures! This double bed is ideal for our taller guests a it has no kick board on the bottom.
Full size single bunks suitable for children or adults.
Again a warm and cosy room.
Big, quadrant shower. Heated towel rail to keep the room and your towels warm.
Will you spot the snails, Baa-bra, the snow-shoes, the skis, the polar bear and the mice when you stay?
