Ty Coed Log Cabin
This is a great log cabin if you and your partner are looking for a romantic weekend getaway.
The cabin sleeps up to 4 guests (double bed and a set of bunk beds) but it is ideal for a couple to have a weekend break.
See the view from the cabin below.
From the cabin it is possible to see Cadair Idris (or Cader Idris if you prefer), Diffwys and the southern Rhinogydd range of mountains. The cabin overlooks a meadow that is often used for ponies to graze.
My favourite things about Ty Coed:
the view - always changing
sitting on the deck listening for cuckoos in spring and summer
how cosy the living area is
"Ty Coed" means "wooden house" in Welsh.
The parking space for this cabin is about 1 minute walk away via a steep gravel path. This means that this cabin is not suitable for all guests.
The cabin is heated via electric storage heaters and fan heaters. There is unlimited hot water from electric, over sink heaters and there is an electric shower. All electricity is included in the price.
We will supply bed linen for all beds booked and there are fleece blankets and hot water bottles for chillier nights or for using on the deck when guests sit to watch the stars.
There is a seating area and dining table on the heated, fairy lit veranda plus a table and chairs on the deck. The veranda has a Bluetooth sound bar so that you can relax with your own music.
The cabin has a well equipped kitchen with full sized stove, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge. There is also a Dolce Gusto coffee maker for coffee lovers - bring your own favourite coffee pods.
Ty Coed is great for families, couples, small groups. Ty Coed is especially popular with couples for short breaks, proposal stays and honeymoons.
This cabin has a 32inch HD TV and a DVD player.
This cabin is about 2 minutes walk (at the most) from Cadair View Lodge, Haulfryn and Caban Eryri so ideal if your party needs to rent several cabins.
