BUT before you go... do you know how to make the best use of it?
When we create posts we try to "tag" them to make them easier to find. For example an event in September 2023 will be tagged #September2023. But things aren't just tagged with when they're happening there are other tags too.
Here is a list of some of them:
#adventure - something that you might not do everyday
#challenge - something to stretch your skill, fitness, nerve!
#children - ideas for pre-teens as well as those older
#cinema - we haven't got many in the area but those that we have are small and cosy
#golf - there are a few courses about and even one underground!
#history - a historical activity or location
#learnsomethingnew - it might be a skill or knowledge
#mtb - mountain biking events, locations or local news
#running + #trailrunning - these maybe events or courses that are being held
#welshlanguage - eisteddfod, events held through the medium of Welsh
#wetday - things that are good to do if the weather is a bit damp
#wildlife - events or locations featuring wildlife
In the Facebook group (probably on the right hand side of the screen) there will be a magnifying glass symbol (NOT the one that says "Search Facebook"), click on this and type the term (with the #) that you would like to pull up and, fingers crossed, you'll get some ideas for what to do during your stay.
Of course you can also just scroll down the feed.
