Calling All Wet + Windswept Campers!

Updated: Jun 6, 2022

Camping can be great fun. Freedom for children. Lots of fresh air and relatively cheap. But...
... a week of rain, mud, wind, not being able to get dry or warm is no fun for anybody and a potential nightmare for parents!

Why not book one of our log cabins for your next trip to North Wales? Reasons why...

  • Warm - on demand heating all year round, switch it on / switch it off to suit you

  • Unlimited hot water and hot showers without the queue - we'll even throw in some soap!

  • Your own toilet - no trekking across a field late at night (or emptying the bucket in the morning!)

  • And for that matter - no trekking across a field to get water in the rain!

  • A full sized stove and microwave - just like home, for when only pizza will do

  • Choose to eat at a table and chairs inside or outside

  • Unlimited electric lighting

  • TV and DVD player

  • Warm and dry inside space

  • And yes, "space" to move around without falling over people or things

  • Somewhere to go when it rains - you don't have to go out

  • And on the same vane - you don't have to "hang around" somewhere until late in the evening to save going back to your tent

  • Launderette on site

  • Peace and quiet - not as likely to be disturbed by the family next door having a row (or doing anything else!)

  • Emptier car when you come away - we provide bed linen, dishes, plates, pans, toilet roll, etc., etc. AND a Welcome Pack (See what we include HERE)

  • No wet tent (and clothes) to pack up at the end

  • No bed linen to wash when you get home (and probably fewer muddy clothes)

  • Less chance of miserable teens (they can bring their games)

  • No wet tent to pack-up at the end of the stay (and unpack when you get home)

  • Cabins with WiFi

  • Pet friendly cabins (max 2 dogs per cabin) - 3 acre, enclosed dog walking area

Yes, we still have amazing views and you can spend as much time outside of your cabin as you wish. There are some fantastic walks locally, Coed y Brenin forest park (and mtb trails) is just 2 miles down the road and Trawsfynydd Lake for fishing is 2 miles the other way.. All of our accommodation is Dark Sky accredited. The area is safe for children to wander around - mine were out day and night there from 7 or 8 years old. There is a big play area in the middle of the Village. There are often ponies in the fields around the Village who love a fuss. There will soon be a small bistro on site for a drink and meals. There is a small shop on site for essentials and food vans are scheduled to visit during busy holiday times.

We would love to welcome you for a stay that is memorable for all of the right reasons!
