It seems that over the last few weeks whenever we've had time off it's either been cold, wet or windy. Today we got out on our Harley Davidson in warm sunshine!!!
We rode over to Criccieth and managed to get a window seat at Cadwalader's ice cream shop. Mid morning ice cream sundaes!
We then went down to the West Shore and spent an hour sitting on our favourite bench on the Prom. Lovely and warm... the waves lapping below our feet. We always sit here watching out for dolphins and porpoise here. They seem to like the area off the Castle. Have often seen them here but not today. The nicer weather had brought the jet skiers out.
After our sun bathing we headed along the coast to Buffers cafe at Pwllheli station. Always time for another cup of tea!!
We love to explore places that we've never been before and today we headed towards Pwllheli beach which neither of us can remember ever visiting. Gosh! Quite a surprise. Over the sand dunes (a very short walk) from what looked like plentiful parking (empty today but Pay and Display) was a lovely sandy beach! Can now see why this place is a popular seaside resort.

Pwllheli is about 45 minutes drive from our accommodation at Trawsfynydd.
