The Wheels On The Bus...

One of the best ways to see the World is from the top deck of a bus! See into people's gardens and over hedges as you are chauffeured around. Now Traws Cymru bus services are offering FREE travel to all on routes listed below. With a bit of planning guests from as far away as Cardiff could travel to and from us for free at the weekends. Or guests staying with us could have a day out in Caernarfon or Aberystwyth.


All of Cadair View Lodge's accommodation is close to the T2 route.

TrawsCymru free travel every Saturday and Sunday TrawsCymru long distance buses are an excellent way to get to know Wales. The Welsh Government has introduced free travel for all every Saturday and Sunday across the TrawsCymru network. If you are in possession of valid Welsh Concessionary Travel Pass, please continue to show this to the driver as normal on Saturdays and Sundays. The following services are included: TrawsCymru T1 Aberystwyth – Aberaeron - Lampeter – Carmarthen; TrawsCymru T1C Aberystwyth – Carmarthen – Cardiff; TrawsCymru T1S Carmarthen - Cross Hands - Swansea TrawsCymru T2 Bangor – Dolgellau – Aberystwyth; TrawsCymru T3 Wrexham – Llangollen – Dolgellau - Barmouth; TrawsCymru T4 Newtown – Brecon – Cardiff; TrawsCymru T5 Aberystwyth – Aberaeron – Cardigan – Haverfordwest; TrawsCymru T6 Brecon – Ystradgynlais – Neath – Swansea Cardiff Airport Express T9 - Cardiff city centre - Cardiff Airport. TrawsCymru Connect T12- Machynlleth- Newtown- Welshpool - Oswestry- Wrexham TrawsCymru T14 * Cardiff – Merthyr Tydfil – Brecon – Hay on Wye – Hereford *Free travel on Saturday and Sunday applies to all passengers who board the T14 service in Wales – even when travelling into England.
